Reopening 1st September 2020

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We wish to bring your attention to our school response plan which is created following advice and guidance from the Department of Education & Skills (DES).

We ask you to understand that in the present climate, everything we communicate is subject to change as we align ourselves with announcements from the DES and NPHET.

We are looking forward to welcoming back our school community, we will strive to ensure our school environment is as safe as possible for our students and staff. It is not possible to eliminate the risk of infection completely.  However, with the cooperation, flexibility and goodwill of all members of our school community, it is possible to minimise the risk of the virus being introduced to school and the consequent risk of its spread. We will need the full support of our parent body and appreciate your help in upholding these guidelines.

Creating a safe and calm environment for our pupils is our focus. These procedures will be reviewed regularly by school staff and as public health guidance dictates.

We will be in touch with further guidance before school begins on September 1st.
