25th – 29th May 2020

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We hope our update this week finds everyone in good health. It was a bittersweet day last Wednesday at the school, so lovely to see everyone but equally heartbreaking in that it highlighted the reality of our current situation, our school building is closed and we miss our students very much. On a positive note, it was great to hear that our school community are remaining safe and healthy.

A big thank you to our teaching staff, they completed a mammoth task to collate and organise all the items and leave them to the school hall. Thank you to our team of teachers who came to distribute the book bags and also to our caretaker John Flaherty who guided the traffic. We were also very grateful to you, the parents and guardians, who adhered to our guidelines and made the whole process flow and work very well – thank you.

At the request of the Department of Education and Skills, continuity of learning continues to take place – please find an outline of work below for the classes from Monday 25th May – Friday 29th May 2020.

Our weekly advice –  please see the work plan as a menu of options that you can work on as suits your family situation at present.

If your child is overwhelmed, pick and choose from the work and find what works best for your child – link in with the class teachers and they will guide you with this.

Most importantly, stay safe and well.
